Taking the baton Jesus Christ entrusted to us, and passing it to you

Most people would understand this to mean, or to refer to, younger people; and this is true. It refers to the generation of people coming next, or after us.

But the Lord has shown me that it also refers to the next “wave” of believers, regardless of age. And this is true too because they are the subsequent ones. They are the next in line, so to speak.

So, while we might usually or naturally think of a generation in terms of time and age, it also quite naturally refers to those who follow us. When we are standing and waiting to renew our driver’s license and the person behind the counter says, “next,” he or she is not calling out to the next person according to his or her chronological age. They are calling out to whoever is next in line, right?

In the same way, this ministry of Almighty God is not simply or only reaching out to and wanting to serve teenagers or those in their twenties or even the thirty-somethings, it is wholeheartedly for anyone who has come or is coming to, faith in Jesus Christ regardless of time or age! It isn’t restricted to millennials, Gen Z or Gen X, it is for baby-boomers and beyond. Those are just terms to identify segments of society. Beyond that, they don’t have too much particular relevance. Jesus died for all and wants all to be saved, though He is all too sadly aware that won’t happen. Don’t allow your age to keep you from reaching out to us. This just might be the vehicle that the Holy Spirit uses to bring you to salvation, forgiveness of sins and eternal life, or to help you mature in your faith, or to water and nurture seeds of Truth He has planted in your heart already.
